Step 1: In a saucepan, whisk flour into the milk and place on stovetop. Cook over medium heat until it becomes smooth and turns to a paste. Set aside and let it cool completely.
Step 2: After paste has cooled completely, beat butter and sugar together until well blended, then add flour paste mixture one small scoop at a time, mix in the vanilla.
Step 3: Frost your cake.
