Step 1: Cook the beef and sausage meat in a skillet with onion and garlic until browned; drain fat.
Step 2: Add cooked beef & sausage and all the other ingredients (except pasta) to slow cooker. Cook on low 8 hours or on high 4 hours. Add cooked pasta at the end of cooking and heat through.
Step 3: Serve with lots more parmesan cheese.
