Step 1: Heat olive oil in 4-quart Dutch oven with cover.
Step 2: Add pork and cook until lightly browned.
Step 3: Add onion and garlic and stir with meat
Step 4: Add flour and stir 1-2 minutes.
Step 5: Add tomatoes, green chilies, jalapeno , salt, pepper and sugar.
Step 6: Mix to incorporate.
Step 7: Add broth.
Step 8: Lower heat. Cover pot and simmer for 1- 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender.
Step 9: Serve with flour tortillas.
