Step 1: Saute onion and celery in butter.
Step 2: Add broth and baking soda.
Step 3: Combine cornstarch and water, add to pan. bring to boil for 2 minutes, stir occasionally.
Step 4: Reduce heat add sauerkraut, cream and corned beef simmer and stir for 15 minutes.
Step 5: Add cheese, let melt.
Step 6: Add salt and pepper garnish with croutons.
