Step 1: Combine all ingredients, except cornmeal, in a slow cooker mixing well.
Step 2: Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours or until meat is tender.
Step 3: Turn control to high.
Step 4: Stir in cornmeal.
Step 5: Cover and cook on high 20 to 25 minutes.
