Step 1: To pan add gizzards bay leaf and stock and cook for 1 hour on simmer, add potatoes.
Step 2: Meantime, saute in oil and butter mixture, the onions and carrots that have been grated. When soft, add flour and brown then add to soup.
Step 3: Add herbs and season to taste, you may need to add a little water if to thick.
Step 4: Garnish with green onions,
