Step 1: In a skillet fry the bacon. Drain, reserving drippings, crumble and set aside.
Step 2: In the reserved drippings, saute the cabbage and onion until soft.
Step 3: Mash warm potatoes with milk and butter, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Fold in the bacon, cabbage and onions.
