Step 1: Peel and core apples.
Step 2: Dice apples. Put in pan with water and cook stirring frequently, about 10 minutes.
Step 3: Add 2 lbs sugar and continue simmering, stirring and skimming for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Hot pack into clean pint jars (always check ball book).
