Browns Grandmothers Devils Food Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs (divided)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 ounces chocolate (need 6 made them smaller, three 1-ounce squares Baker's chocolate)
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to Make

Step 1: Add sour cream, salt and egg yolks to sugar.

Step 2: Melt chocolate and butter over boiling water. Add chocolate mix to egg mix.

Step 3: Sift flour and soda and add to mixture. Fold in beaten egg whites.

Step 4: Bake about 30 minutes in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven.

Step 5: Makes 2 small layers or one loaf cake.
