Step 1: Sprinkle the garlic in a dish large enough to hold the tomatoes side by side.
Step 2: Place the cut tomatoes, cut side down, side by side, sprinkle the salt over the them
Step 3: Pour in enough vodka so it is well above the cut crosses
Step 4: Leave at least 24 hours at room temperature. The longer you leave them the more vodka they absorb. Refridgerate before serving, serve with salt on the side
