Step 1: Combine egg, milk and melted butter. Beat well. Season with salt and pepper. Add flour and baking powder, whisk until smooth. Add drained corn, green onions and grated cheese. Stir to combine well.
Step 2: Heat oil in a frying pan until moderately hot. Drop a spoonful of the mixture in and level the top using a spatula. Fry until golden brown and then turn over to cook other side. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
