Australian Ground Beef Rarebit

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup chopped yellow onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 pound ground beef
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper (1 dash)
- 1 cup beer
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- English muffin (toasted)
How to Make

Step 1: Melt the butter in a deep skillet over medium heat.

Step 2: Add onions and peppers.

Step 3: Saute 5 minutes.

Step 4: Add meat and cook until browned, stirring almost constantly.

Step 5: Add salt, cayenne and beer.

Step 6: Add cheese, stirring until melted.

Step 7: Serve over toasted English muffins.
