- 1 pound dry lima beans (soaked overnight)
- 18 ounces frozen corn (3 cups)
- 1/2 pound pearl onions
- 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoon bacon fat
- 2 pounds ham hocks (2 hocks)
- 6 cups water
