Step 1: Cook the grits with the salt for 1 hour on very slow heat.
Step 2: Fry the sausage, garlic and mushrooms.
Step 3: Preheat oven.
Step 4: Mix in all ingredients then pour into casserole.
Step 5: Bake 40 minutes until brown on top.
