Step 1: Puree the tomatoes in a food processor until smooth, approximately 1 minute.
Step 2: In a large saucepan, saute the onion in the olive oil until the onions are translucent
Step 3: And garlic.
Step 4: Add the tomato puree, salt, pepper, bay leaf, basil, and oregano and mix together.
Step 5: Lower the heat and simmer 1 hour until the sauce is reduced by half and becomes a thicker paste.
