Step 1: Combine all ingredients except the water and syrup.
Step 2: In a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
Step 3: After mixing, slowly add a cup at a time, the boiled water. Syrup in 1st cup.
Step 4: When the mix is thick enough to be sticky, shape round patties (about 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick) have water at a rolling boil and drop in 1 or 2 patties, carefully making sure they do not stick to the bottom.
Step 5: Remove breads when they begin to float.
