Step 1: Brown meat in oil.
Step 2: Add onion and garlic, sauteā together until tender, drain off excess fat.
Step 3: Add hominy, chili pods, oregano, salt, pepper and 6 cups water into crock pot.
Step 4: Simmer for 6 hour or until the meat and corn are tender.
