Easy Cherry Chocolate Cream Cheese Cake

Ingredients
- 1 (9-ounce) box chocolate cake mix (use a mix for a single layer cake, baked according to package directions then cooled completely)
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese softened
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip Frozen Topping, thawed
How to Make

Step 1: Place the cooled cake on a serving plate.

Step 2: In a small mixing bowl beat the cream cheese with sugar until smooth and fluffy; fold in the thawed Cool Whip.

Step 3: Spread the cherry pie filling over the chocolate cake then spread the cream cheese mixture over the cherry pie filling.

Step 4: Refrigerate for 4 or more hours before serving.
