Step 1: Mix together the dry ingredients.
Step 2: In another bowl, lightly beat the egg and cream together.
Step 3: Dip the slices of cheese into the wet mixture, then pat them into the dry mixture making sure to get the bread crumbs on both sides.
Step 4: In a large non-stick pan, heat oil until shimmering. Add the cheese and cook over high heat for 1-2 minutes until breading is golden, turn cheese (carefully) and cook for another minute.
Step 5: Remove from heat and serve warm.
