Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Step 2: Make a deep lengthwise slit in the unpeeled banana, without cutting all the way through it (about 3/4 of an inch).
Step 3: Squeeze apart banana like you would a baked potato, or use your fingers to make an opening where you cut. Spread/stuff peanut butter evenly inside along the bottom. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of peanut butter.
Step 4: Wrap banana in foil, sealing the top to form a sort of “boat”.
Step 5: Bake for about 12 minutes.
Step 6: Carefully remove foil (don't be alarmed that the skin has partially turned brown, that's what happens when you bake bananas). Banana should be softened and chocolate chips melted. I also like to take the back of a spoon and swipe along the chocolate chips to smooth them out.
Step 7: Eat straight out of the peel with a spoon!
