Step 1: Cut the brisket into 4 pieces an then dredge the pieces in flour, reserving the remaining flour.
Step 2: Place half of the onion slices in the bottom of a slow cooker and top with the beef. Sprinkle with the reserved flour, salt and pepper. Top with remaining onion slices.
Step 3: In a bowl combine sauce ingredients (chili sauce - garlic). Pour over meat/onions and cover. Cook on high for one hour and then reduce heat to low and cook for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender. Remove beef with a slotted spoon; replace the cooker lid.
Step 4: Shed beef with 2 forks and return beef to the cooker,stirring well.
Step 5: Spoon mixture over the toasted bread or in the rolls.
