Step 1: Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Step 2: Add onions, saute stirring fregently until the onions are golden (apprx 15 minutes)..
Step 3: Add rosemary & stir
Step 4: Season with salt & pepper.
Step 5: Pre-heat oven to 375f.
Step 6: Lightly butter one side of the bread.
Step 7: Place bread slices buttered side down on an oven proof tray.
Step 8: Cover the bread slices with the prepared onions.
Step 9: Sprinkle on the cheese, be generous.
Step 10: Bake for apprx 10 minutes or until the cheese is golden/or bubbly.
Step 11: Serve warm.
