Spicy Jalapeno Crab Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked crab (dungeness crabmeat)
- 1 large shallot, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 3 to 3 3/4 ounces bread slices (2 to 3 slices white bread, crusts removed, made into crumbs)
- 2 tablespoons oil
How to Make

Step 1: Squeeze all the liquid from the crab.

Step 2: Mix all the ingredients except crab & bread crumbs.

Step 3: Add crab mix gently.

Step 4: Add bread crumbs, mix gently.

Step 5: Form into small patties.

Step 6: Fry the cakes until golden of each side.

Step 7: Drain on paper towel if necessary.
