Step 1: Bring the milk to almost boil over medium heat. Add the salt and butter.Let it melt.
Step 2: While whisking gently, pour the polenta into the hot milk in a steady stream.
Step 3: Continue whisking until polenta is thickened.About 1 minute. Turn off the heat add cheese and continue whisking until blended in.
Step 4: Polenta keeps thickening as it cools down, so do not worry if it looks a little to soft at the begining.
Step 5: Pour on a plate and sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top.
