Step 1: Remove stems & puree strawberries w/1 tbsp powdered sugar. Set aside.
Step 2: Combine room temp low-fat cream cheese w/2 tbsp powdered sugar & set aside.
Step 3: Peel & halve the bananas, then split each half again - but lengthwise.
Step 4: Begin to assemble the tortilla wraps by 1st placing 2 banana quarters side-by-side in the center of each flour tortilla.
Step 5: Fold the 2 side edges of the tortillas over to encircle the banana halves.
Step 6: Fold the open ends in slightly & then the entire end back over any exposed tortilla edges to form a wrap with all edges on 1 side.
Step 7: Place the wraps (exposed edges down) in a dry skillet & brown the tortilla over med-heat, turning several times (The 1st browning will "seal" the edge side & keep the tortillas in a uniform shape as you continue to brown).
Step 8: Transfer tortillas to dessert plates. Spoon 1/4 of the strawberry puree over each tortilla & 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture in the center. Serve warm.
Step 9: NOTE #1: A reviewer at my former recipe site had an excellent suggestion as follows: "Before filling your tortillas, wrap them up in a wet paper towel & place in the microwave for 10 sec. This will soften them & allow you to fold the tortillas w/o any splitting at the seams or folds."
Step 10: Note #2: You can sweeten the tortillas by adding choc chips to the inside of the wraps w/the bananas.
