3/4 cup oil (can use olive oil or vegetable or canola oil)
1 cup mayonnaise (do not use salad dressing)
3/4 cup buttermilk (if you don’t like the flavor of buttermilk then milk will work well also)
1 garlic clove, minced (garlic lovers use a extra large clove)
3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
2 tablespoons dried basil (rubbed between fingers to release the flavors)
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt or white salt
Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
Tabasco sauce, optional and to taste
How to Make
Step 1:
In a food processor process all ingredients together until well blended; transfer to a glass jar, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 or more hours before using.
