Step 1: Cook beef till done and drain.
Step 2: Put all remaining ingredients EXCEPT cabbage, in large stock pot and simmer.
Step 3: When vegetables are tender crisp, add cabbage.
Step 4: Cover and simmer till cabbage is done.
Step 5: You may add pasta, or other seasonings.
Step 6: I served this with garlic bread.
