Ingredients
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup cold water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon rind
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
How to Make

Step 1: Whisk sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Gradually stir in water and bring to a boil, stirring continually. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat.

Step 2: Stir in remaining ingredients and cool completely at room temperature. Then spread on cake layers.
