Marcia's Meatballs in the Crock Pot

Ingredients
- MEATBALLS
- 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon MSG
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 small yellow onion (minced)
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- SAUCE
- 1/2 small yellow onion (minced)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 garlic clove
- 1/2 whole lemon (juiced)
How to Make

Step 1: Combine meatball ingredients and form into 1" balls. Put on broiler pan in oven set at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes, flipping meatballs over halfway through cooking time.

Step 2: Turn crockpot to high and add sauce ingredients, stir.

Step 3: Add meatballs to crock pot, stir gently to evenly coat, then cover and turn down to low for 4-6 hours.
