Step 1: Brown the pork on allsides in a lightly oiled skillet
Step 2: Place ribs in an oven proof pan and scatter the onions over them
Step 3: Pour in the beer and cover with either a tight fitting lid or tin foil
Step 4: Bake at 375 for 1 1/2 hours
Step 5: Pour out any remaining beer and slather the meat with the 2 cups of BBQ sauce
Step 6: Return the ribs uncovered for another hour or until the meat is golden brown and the sauce is thick
