Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups oats
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup nuts
- 8 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
How to Make

Step 1: Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs.

Step 2: Sift dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture. Add milk.

Step 3: Fold in nuts.

Step 4: Drop onto greased baking sheet.

Step 5: Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or til done (as no time is given and I don`t know how many this makes).
