Step 1: Slash each drumstick in 3 places with a sharp knife (this will help the marinade to get into the flesh and speed up cooking time - if you don't want to slash the drumsticks allow 35 to 45 minutes to cook.)
Step 2: In a bowl combine all the ingredients and work the marinade into the drumstick meat.
Step 3: Lay the drumsticks out in a single layer in a shallow pan or on a baking tray, leaving a little space between each if possible and pour over any excess marinade.
Step 4: Bake at 180C for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling (time will depend on size of drumsticks, I usually find it takes about 45 minutes most times).
Step 5: Serve with coleslaw.
