Step 1: Heat olive oil on high in a frypan.
Step 2: Sear mushrooms, add balsamic vinegar, saute about 5 minutes.
Step 3: Add soy sauce, salt and pepper, reduce heat to medium; cook down until very little moisture remains; about 30 minutes.
Step 4: Serve beside or over steak.
