Step 1: Fry the prepared bacon until crisp, drain, finely chop, set aside
Step 2: In the same pan, fat removed cook the mushrooms & onions,apprx 5 min., cool
Step 3: While the veggies are cooking combine the meat with the steak sauce.
Step 4: Form into 8 thin patties
Step 5: Mix the bacon with the mushrooms and onions
Step 6: Divide evenly and place on 4 patties, leaving a 3/4" clear edge
Step 7: Top with remaining patties sealing the edges carefully
Step 8: Cook high heat in a griddler for 4 minutes or pan fry 4 minutes each side
Step 9: If you wish melt the cheese last minute of cooking.
Step 10: Place on toasted bun with a slice of tomato, lettuce and cheese
Step 11: Enjoy
