Step 1: In a small bowl sift flour and baking powder, add salt.
Step 2: Beat egg and milk in a larger bowl. Stir in the flour mixture.
Step 3: Drop by rounded spoonfuls into boiling/rapidly simmering stewed chicken, stew or soup. Cover tightly and cook for 12-15 minutes.
Step 4: DO NOT lift the lid while it is cooking. Check at 12 minutes.
