Step 1: In a mortar and pestle, crush chili peppers and onion to make a paste; a food processor would work.
Step 2: Fry eggplant in wok in oil until half cooked; remove eggplant. Add paste; cook until aromas develop.
Step 3: Add eggplant and lime juice; mix well; serve.
