Best Ever Gingerbread

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup hot water
- TOPPING
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
How to Make

Step 1: Cream butter and sugar. Add egg.

Step 2: Sift dry ingredients, add alternately with water and molasses.

Step 3: Put in greased and floured 9x13 pan.

Step 4: Whip topping put on top before baking(I'm going to try just a small section on this part there were typos) The booklet doesn't have this, I'm thinking its the whipped topping for after its baked.

Step 5: Bake350 oven for 35 minutes.
