Step 1: Peel the apples, cored them and cut into slices.
Step 2: Sautee in butter and sprinkle with sugar until they are delicately brown and caramelized.
Step 3: After caramelizing add wine and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4: You can serve plain or sprinkle with cinnamon and a dab of whipped cream.
