Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
- 2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 3 tablespoons instant coffee granules
- 6 tablespoons hot coffee (prepared)
- 7 to 8 cups icing sugar (sifted)
- 3 drops bitters (Angostura bitters)
How to Make

Step 1: Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth.

Step 2: Dissolve coffee granules in hot prepared coffee.

Step 3: Add to creamed mixture; beat until blended.

Step 4: Add 7 cups icing sugar.

Step 5: Continue to beat until light and fluffy.

Step 6: Stir in bitters.

Step 7: If needed, add more icing sugar to bring to spreading consistency
