Czarska Queens Lenten Cake

Ingredients
- 9 ounces walnuts (ground)
- 9 ounces granulated sugar
- 9 ounces all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder ( they probably used baking soda )
- 4 tablespoon bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 whole lemon, juiced (I would use some zest)
- 3 tablespoons jam
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
How to Make

Step 1: Mix everything but the jam until well mixed. In 9 inch cake pan grease and flour heavily. Pour in 1/2 the mixture.

Step 2: Spread jam over center, they probably eye balled it. Cover with rest of batter.

Step 3: Bake 45 minutes at 350 F.

Step 4: Dust top with powdered sugar.
