Step 1: In a large bowl, add meat, onion, garlic powder, and pepper.
Step 2: Mix well, but do not over mix, if over mixed, meat will dry out during cooking.
Step 3: Preheat large cast iron skillet over medium heat.
Step 4: Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions and flatten into 1/4 inch patties.
Step 5: Put a thumb-sized hole in middle, this method will ensure even cooking.
Step 6: Add burgers to skillet; sprinkle each patty with 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt.
Step 7: Cook on each side till desired internal temperature is reached and a slight crust is on burger.
Step 8: Place a cheese slice and two bacon halves on each patty; let cheese slightly melt.
Step 9: Then dress burger with favorite toppings.
