Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and pecans.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar.
Step 4: Stir in beaten eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
Step 5: Stir banana mixture into the flour mixture and mix until just blended.
Step 6: Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Step 7: Bake for 60-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the centre of loaf comes out clean.
Step 8: Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto cooling rack.
