Gratin Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 box (4.7 oz) Betty Crocker au gratin potatoes
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons margarine (or butter)
- 6 bacon slices (cooked, crumbled)
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (4 oz)
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions (4 medium)
- 1/4tsp coarse ground black pepper
- TOPPING
- 1/2 bread crumbs (plain bread crumbs)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
How to Make

Step 1: Heat oven to 400°F.

Step 2: In 2-quart casserole, mix Potatoes, Sauce Mix, boiling water, half-and-half and butter. Stir in remaining potato ingredients.

Step 3: Bake uncovered 35 minutes.

Step 4: In small bowl, mix bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over top. Bake 8 minutes longer or until topping is golden.

Step 5: Sprinkle with parsley. Let stand 5 minutes before serving (sauce will thicken as it stands).
