Step 1: Combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.
Step 2: Remove 3 tablespoons of this mixture and set aside for basting.
Step 3: Add chicken to mixture and toss to coat.
Step 4: Thread onto metal skewers with broccoli.
Step 5: Grill, covered, over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink, turning occasionally.
Step 6: Baste with reserved soy mixture in the last 4 minutes of cooking time.
