Step 1: Place the ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil.
Step 2: Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes. Do not remove lid.
Step 3: Remove pot from burner and set aside for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Give pot a good shake and serve or use rice as called for in recipes.
