Step 1: Place wings in a 4 quart crock-pot.
Step 2: Mix the remaining ingredients together in a shaker, sake to dissolve sugar; pour over chicken pieces and cover.
Step 3: Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until tender.
Step 4: Remove the wings from the sauce and serve or remove the wings from the sauce and place on a foil paper lined baking sheet and broil on the top rack in the oven until skin is crisped, about 3 to 4 minutes.
