Step 1: Mix hot sauce, 2 tablespoons of the oil, sugar, garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes and cayenne in a large re-sealable plastic bag; swish together to mix.
Step 2: Place the wings in bag and toss to coat; seal bag removing as much of the air as possible.
Step 3: Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, turning bag around every so often.
Step 4: Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit.
Step 5: Place a sheet of foil over a large baking pan and coat with remaining oil.
Step 6: Place wings in single layer on pan. (Discard leftover marinade). Bake wings for 30 minutes, turning half way through.
Step 7: Turn oven to broil, move wings to top oven rack; broil 5 minutes.
Step 8: Turn wings over. Return to top oven rack; broil until golden brown.
