Step 1: Heat the oil (or butter if you like) in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2: Add in the bell pepper, onion and celery and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
Step 3: Stir the barbecue sauce and cooked chicken in the saucepan.
Step 4: Cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling, stirring occasionally.
Step 5: Add salt and pepper if you want.
Step 6: Divide the chicken mixture among the buns. Serve
