Step 1: In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, diced bacon, pressed garlic and hot pepper flakes with your bare hands making sure everything is well blended.
Step 2: Divide this mixture into 4 equal portions (These are hefty burgers).
Step 3: Place the piece of cheese in the middle of each meat portion and shape into a patty, making sure the cheese is not exposed.
Step 4: Refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the garlic to permeate into the meat.
Step 5: Remove from refrigerator and allow resting for 20 minutes.
Step 6: Cook the burger on a pre-heated grill or skillet until cooked to desired doneness.
Step 7: Place on the buns and top with your favourite fixings.
