Step 1: Prick the plums on all sides with a fork
Step 2: Place in a 3 quart glass jar with a lid
Step 3: Add sugar and vodka
Step 4: Close lid and store in a dark cool place
Step 5: Each week stir the plums in the jar
Step 6: Cloce lid and let it sit until next week, stir again
Step 7: Continue doing this every week for 3 months
Step 8: Let the brandy sit for one more month
Step 9: Strain the finished through cheese cloth and a very fine sieve into a handsome crystal decanter
